Eric segued into the securities and investments industry receiving his securities license in 1990 to provide financial planning while also practicing law. He began selling securities and commodities, managing investments, and providing financial direction. Becoming immersed in the securities and investments field provided him with insights and a basis for practical legal experiences that go into the causes and effects of financial decisions and choices made by brokers on behalf of clients.

His experience litigating against stock broker and financial advisor fraud and improprieties has helped clients reclaim misappropriated funds. His vast knowledge of economics and the financial market and industry offers clients a unique resource while planning for life during and after bankruptcy and or foreclosure.

Eric Lanigan attended Winter Park High School and he went to college at Florida State University where he earned a B.S. in Economics. He graduated from Stetson University Law School and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1976.
